I found this today on Yahoo News. Fucking bitch should have been locked up.
**************************************************************
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Florida woman has been sentenced to 14 months of house arrest for leaving two grandchildren alone in a parked car while she went to play the slots.
A Broward County judge also gave the 54-year-old woman three years’ probation Monday.
Authorities say the woman left the children in a car parked outside a Hallandale Beach casino in August 2008. The windows were down, but the air-conditioning was off.
A witness saw the 2-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy in the car and told the casino’s security.
The prosecutor tells the South Florida Sun Sentinel that the woman had pleaded guilty to charges including felony child abuse and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Well, it turns out that NASA with all it’s resources was trumped by an amateur astronomer who witnessed a large object slam into Jupiter sometime over the weekend. The said astronomer then contacted NASA to let know know what he saw at which point NASA turned their telescopes and cameras to Jupiter to find a gaping hole in Jupiter’s atmosphere. A little slow NASA. Pick up the pace people!

WOW!! Now this is cool! Google, one of the largest and most popular search engines, and my favorite, has announced that it will creating a new operating system based off of their Chrome browser. It will be primarily focused towards Netbooks and Acer, third largest PC maker, has already started making netbooks that will compatible with Google’s Android operating System. Android is the system that Google released for various smart phones and other mobile devices. Using this new Operating system would essentially make computers cheaper as there would be no licensing needed for the operating system as is the case for Windows. Google will rely mostly on the on the open-source programming community to expand and develop it’s Chrome browser.
I can’t wait to test this out. This could end up being a major change in the world as it mat knock Microsoft out of the running at some point. I personally really like open-source programs and software because in many cases it is just as powerful if not more so than the privately created software like Office. I use Open Office myself and have no issues. I all also have a PC running Ubuntu and it runs faster than my XP Pro machine, and uses less RAM!! I will follow this closely.
