These rich, fudgy brownie cupcakes are a chocolate lover's delight.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter
  • 4 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate (We recommend NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Bars)
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Heat oven to 350°F. Line muffin pans with paper baking cups; set aside. Melt butter and chocolate over low heat in 1-quart saucepan, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted (5 to 6 minutes); let cool 5 minutes. Stir together chocolate mixture and all remaining ingredients in large bowl until well mixed. Fill each paper-lined muffin cup with about 1/4 cup batter. Bake for 23 to 27 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly. Remove cupcakes from pans; cool completely.

Makes 1 1/2 dozen cupcakes.
